Training Description :

Taking initiative and being proactive are constant buzzwords found in most resume. These words can translate to reaching accomplishment. It can be difficult to jumpstart and idea because of fear of failure: therefore, initiative if it is taken means you are working and attempting to reach perceived goals.

People are their own worst enemies in not reaching a goal or being successful because they choose not to initiate the plan. Procrastination is the opposite of having initiative does we put off things with a mindset that there will be perfect time and situation to execute a plan.

Taking initiative and being proactive are good qualities of a leader, because they are complementary to anyone who has vision to find trends and act on them. Proactive and initiative does wonders in life and is much needed for a successful career.

This training program is suitable for supervisors and managers who wish to enhance self in taking initiative and being proactive in managing their works and performance.

Objectives :

Upon completion of training, the participants are expected to be able in:

  • Understanding their proactive leadership style and work drives
  • Develop an action plan to achieve personal Flow
  • Teaching self – reliance rather than issuing directions to subordinates
  • Increasing or decreasing responsibility for an individual or group rather than punishing or blaming them when things go wrong
  • Holding people responsible and accountable but not making a pejorative assessment of them they’d rather study what went wrong and use the opportunity as a learning experience.
  • Accepting people as they are and not trying to change them. They’d rather concentrate their energies on trying to encourage and facilitate people to perform to the best their abilities and interest and simultaneously develop their skill and abilities
  • Displaying a high level of tolerance for individual traits, characteristics, beliefs , idiosyncrasies, interest and mood swings but having little tolerance for sub standard work and expecting everyone to give their best effort at work.

Materi Outline Training :
